The Bozarts Team & Collaborators

David Adams

Bozarts Founder & Artistic Director

"David Adams’ Drawer of Dreams project united the classical chamber group - the Bristol Ensemble, conducted by Charles Hazelwood - with the circus talents of Bristol's Cirque Bijou and Circomedia.

David's vision and his exemplary, varied and well-chosen music combined with the theatrics took the audience on an aural and visual journey of dreams that literally 'shook the house'.

The combination of music and theatrical tableaux was both revelatory and astounding - so much so that this became one of the most talked about performances of the whole Opening Night!

I could not have asked for more from such a challenging and vibrant performance.  A major success and one that deserves a far wider airing.”

Peter Conway - Creative Producer, 2009 Colston Hall Celebration

"David Adams used his considerable project management skills to bring together a diverse group of artists, professional, student, young and old, to help create this ambitious and successful show for the launch of the Colston Hall Foyer.

David’s energy, drive and creative ideas pulled the team and all the different strands of the project together.  He has an excellent understanding of the needs of different arts forms - and the management skills to get the best out of the various artists involved."

Billy Alwen - Cirque Bijou Co-Director (http://www.cirquebijou.co.uk)

"David Adams is a very motivational and enthusiastic project director.  He fed many ideas into the devising process, whilst allowing space for others’ creative interpretations of his themes and concepts.

It was a collaboration with plenty of dialogue and discussion - which I believe to be vital in order to achieve the most fruitful results.

David's strengths in getting the most out of a creative team are applicable across the art forms of theatre, music, visual arts and circus.  He has a talent for inspiring young, student performers."
